Bezz's 30th Birthday Party 6/3/04

I went up to the Midlands for my friend Bezz's surprise 30th birthday party the other week. And what a fantastic night was had by all!

It took place in a big country-house where I got a room for the night. It was great seeing Bezz's face when he came through the door to a room full of people. It was a typically Bezz reaction (he ran in with his arms up and cheered himself!).

The night turned out to be a bit of a school-reunion as I saw all the old crowd from back in the Midlands, some of whom I hadn't seen since I left school 14 years ago! Great to see them again, if a little bit scary. We started talking about old times when we were about 8 and used to go swimming and things like that! Crazy!

Bezz ended up the way all birthday boys should end up - crawling round the floor, being told off by his girlfriend and then being sick in his hotel room! Uh oh, my 30th's coming up soon!
