My fantasy UK campervan journey

I have always had a dream of driving around the coast of Britain in a campervan. I would get a big old campervan, start where I live in Brighton, drive down to the beach and ponder life for a while and then start my epic journey.

It would take me all around the coast of Britain, meeting people from different places, sampling the local (vegan) cuisine, noticing the differences in culture. I would certainly take my time, maybe staying a few nights if I found somewhere I liked.

I would park the campervan on cliff-tops and write my journal before going to sleep and wake up the next day to a wind-swept beach and seaguls swooping around me.

It would be tough going around the Scottish coast as there would be gale-force winds, but I would appreciate the beautiful scenery and the warm welcome.

I would meet up with friends on the way. They would come and visit me on the coast and have parties in the back of my van.

Eventually I'd get back to Brighton a changed man. Or maybe just keep on going and do it all again, and again. Living life on the road with a constant view of the sea.

Aah, someday!
