Fragile

Fragile
Handle with care

Like a glass vase
The smallest vibration will smash
But not to be left in box

More like the Bayeux Tapestry
Keep in warm, dark conditions incase of disintegration by the merest glimpse of sunlight
But don’t seperate from the world behind a glass window

More like an ill person in hospital
Comfort needed regularly by friends and relatives at appropriate times
Without the Lucozade

More like a bird’s egg
To be kept warm and safe from predators until incubation period over
But not suffocated

More like a mysterious parcel on Christmas morning
Unwrap gently
But don’t rattle or shake

More like a baby
Hold in arms and accept fully the snot and sick and smell
However, molly-coddling may do more harm than good

More like a sensitive piece of computer hardware
Guard from extremes
But don’t tamper with

More like a dandelion head
Catch gently
But don’t let go when you’ve had your wish

Just be careful
Please
