I'm Not Scared by Niccolo Ammaniti

What a great read this book is! I was up until 1am this morning because I couldn't put the bloody thing down! Then I was almost too scared to go to the loo because I was so wound up by the story!

Set in the Italian countryside, it's a story of a boy who makes a discovery that will change his life forever. I don't usually go for translations as I never know what has been lost from the original, but the simple story-telling comes through amazingly well here.

It's just a really unpretentious, brilliantly written story. Buy it here, now!
